These guys are REALLY making a difference in the lives of people there, most especially children, and showing people that not ALL Americans are “like Barry”.

Well, they’ve announced a fund-raising drive and we want to be a part of it.

It seems that one of them is actually a published author, and he is offering a collection of his books (all three) free as an incentive for a donation of $10 or more. It’s called their “Three For Free” Promotion:

The promotion is also featured on the web site, “Go Fund Me” at this link:

“Give a Kid a Smile

Anyone who donates $10 or more to our cause will receive all three of these Kevin E Lake novels for free! They are eBooks, and though they come in Kindle and Nook format, you don’t need a Kindle or a Nook to read them. You can read directly online or in pdf format. Please send us a message on the ‘Give a Kid a Smile’ page with your email address so we can send you your free copies after you’ve made your donation!

“Off Switch” is one of the most realistic looks at what it is like to go to war and then come home and try to reintegrate back into society while struggling with P.T.S.D. and a ‘new normal’ as far as few things ever being the same again.

“From the Graves of Babes” is based on real urban legends and folklore at a real location in the deep, dark mountains of Appalachia and was Amazon’s #1 rated ghost novel in customer satisfaction for 6 months in the year of its release (2011).

And “Isle of Kapre” is the first Western novel written on Philippine paranormal, known in the Philippines as ‘Aswang.’

Get all three of these great works for only a $10 donation to help feed the hungry and shoe the shoeless! God bless all of you, from all of us at GAKAS!”
